The coffee here is inviting; it never demands attention but rewards those who appreciate slow, thoughtful sipping.

Beyond coffee, their menu offers a solid selection of eats complementing the drinks rather than overshadowing them. The Chocolate Croissant is praised for its perfect crunch and just-right chocolate filling, a delightful companion to any beverage. Sandwich lovers will find the Grilled Vegetable Panini and Panini Diavolo flavorful choices, though some might find the bread a touch over-toasted. The café’s offerings also cater well to the casual diner, with options like grilled cheese and the signature cheese roll providing familiar comfort.

Targeting discerning coffee aficionados as well as those simply wanting a serene spot for a pick-me-up, the café’s unpretentious setup and genuine warmth in service create a welcoming environment. Free Wi-Fi access for a limited time reinforces its appeal to students and remote workers looking for a productive, yet relaxed space.

One sip of their iced slow brew, and I was hooked. It’s got that rare, bold kick—probably the best you’ll find in Katipunan, and somehow it feels like you’re getting more than you paid for. The chocolate croissant? Perfect crunch, just the right hit of chocolate. But it’s more than the coffee. The place is quiet, cool—not one of those hot, crowded spots where you’re dodging laptops. There’s warmth here, in the service and in the air, a laid-back vibe that makes it the perfect place to get your wake-up fix. It’s like they know why you’re here and make it easy for you to stay.

Great great great coffee!!! They absolutely know their coffee and it shows with their Iced Long Black - the right amount of water and espresso. I truly enjoyed it!!! It's also priced at PHP110 which is at least PHP50 less than other coffee shops. Might be the go-to when in the Katipunan area. I highly recommend it!

It was my first time visiting this cafe. Feel good coffee shop and hindi maingay sa paligid. They offer free wi-fi access for one hour upon purchase. Masarap ‘yung spanish latte and mabilis na-prepare. Will definitely go back to try their pasta. They also sell gift box sets!

Was sad to see Ella and the Blackbird close its doors but I’m now happy that there’s a new neighborhood cafe to take its place. Coffee was really good. I tried their flat white and cappuccino (would have been better if served hotter). Their grilled cheese and panini diavolo were great tasting too but the bread was a bit tough or too toasted for me.

Now hear me out. Parking is a problem, true. Most people just walk to come here. The place is small, seating is about 15, and that fills up the place. And food, well, it's there if anyone wants it but it isnjot the main draw. But it deserves 5 stars for me because of the coffee. Reliable, comforting coffee. Cared for, ground, and brewed so that you can relish every sip. Definitely best coffee in the area. So, alone or with your best friend, CTR offers a piece of coffee heaven in a simple, unassuming place.

The flat white was satisfying, very remiscent of the flat whites I had in Melbourne, Au. Price is reasonable for its quality. I was here on a Wednesday afternoon, it was occupied by some youth, it can get pretty noisy. Restroom was clean. There's limited parking for automobiles. No bicycle parking but you can carry your bikes about 3-5 steps so that you can secure your bike on the premises' railings. Will surely drop by again to try the slow brew and the other food offerings.

Decent coffee (slow brew is a pour over) and light and airy ambience built for the student crowd especially for those that use cafes as places for studying or for meetings. This small nook of a place is situated a walking distance from Admu and Miriam College.
